1.The Art Palace on Wheels: A Mobile Art Gallery & Classroom

   We will display artwork on the outside perimeter, and we will teach Art Classes and Adult Literacy on the inside. The vision for "The Art Palace on Wheels" A Mobile Art Gallery and Classroom is as an ongoing project. The first two years will serve as a pilot project until we get the kinks out. 

It is our intent to present exhibitions and classes (weather permitting) on the weekends of each month for the seven months of spring, summer & fall, traveling to accessible public spaces such as libraries, schools, park districts, parking lots and vacant lots throughout Cuyahoga County. Performing art programs will accompany the exhibit and will take place outside the mobile art gallery.

 

   The Art Palace on Wheels brings the Arts and Education "Outside" literally and metaphorically. It creates a public art gallery and educational platform that will reach Clevelanders who don’t frequent local cultural institutions and adults who want to continue their education.

2. A Year of Action: Voter Education Network Night

Purpose/Intent

• to Build a democratic culture in order to promote and protect free and fair elections.

• help residents learn about state, local, and federal election processes,

• help residents to understand the power of their voice and the vote, and 

• help residents become engaged participants in our nation’s constitutional democracy.

• No Campaigning: Our  focus is on how to vote rather than who to vote for.
